The National Science and Technology Museum is located in Agargaon, capital of Dhaka. On 1 November 1987, the museum officially started. It is a unique museum for science students, especially scientists. The museum has been preserved kidneys of different animals, sea fish, dolphins, birds and snake skeletons, marine reefs, human body organisms, skeleton of big whale fish etc. Solar world model, night sky, moon model, and movie scope will also be seen in this science museum. The only mini-observer in Bangladesh is in this museum, from where the planets of the sky can be seen in the telescope. The museum also has Karnaphuli Paper Mill, Chittagong Urea Fertilizer Factory, Space Research and Remote Sensing Organization, Bangladesh Machine Tools Gallery, Sugar Calls Model. There are also scientific tools used by Satyendranath Basu's X-ray tube, Kudrat-e-Khudda, and various instruments used in different eras.
